How to write a top quality Fiverr Gig Description?

A well-written Fiverr Gig Description is the key to winning more sales in a less time frame. This is the place where you can gain the buyer’s trust before they purchase a Gig.

When I first started as a seller, I had no idea how to write a gig description for Fiverr so I had to check in a lot of Gigs by higher-level sellers and got inspiration and ideas from there.

In this article, I am first going to give a detailed instruction about how you can make your current gig description outstanding or write a new one as well as in the end give you some gig description sample or template to follow.

I’d still recommend writing one by following the guideline instead of using a template for it.

Do Your Research

The very first thing that you should be doing is, go to Fiverr.com and search for the Gigs related to what you are going to be selling.

Look at the Description of each one of these gigs and learn what pattern they are following. Most of the top sellers already write their gigs the perfect way by optimizing it using keywords and describing everything correctly.

Note: Please DO NOT COPY any gig’s description and use it as yours. This is something that just wouldn’t be a good thing to do.

Give an Introduction

If you have a personal account, then avoid using sentences like “We can help you”, because it should be “I can help you”

This is the part where you talk to the buyer directly and ask them are they having a relevant issue, For example: “Having issues with your websites? Congrats! You’ve come across one of the best gigs regarding Website Development & Fixation.”

Do make sure to use proper keywords within the description text so your Gig can be ranked on the first page.

Don’t write one keyword so many times and try to keep a balance by using multiple keywords so it does go with the sentence.

Tell your Experiences (Get Them Familiar)

Do you have any previous experiences with what you offer in this gig? Write it down! It is very important to at least mention all the Services you can provide in a single gig.

Here you list out the top core benefits of ordering your Gig, this can include:

• How quick you are delivering?
• How many satisfied buyers you have before?

And other similar things which come to your mind.

This is probably one of the most important steps when writing the description. You have to gain trust by telling the buyer what’s in it that is for them?

The best way this can be done is by asking yourself how far you can go to reach the buyer’s expectations. Write down what they should be expecting from it.

Explain How The Buyer Should Order

Here you explain to the buyer whether they should order directly, and if they do then what package can they order? Usually, I write here for the buyer to contact me and get a custom offer. Explain to buyers that if their requirements aren’t included in the gig then they should get a Custom Offer.

You can also mention that if they want another type of services which you offer, then they can see your other gig for that.

Keep it simple

Make sure to use simple English, and not make it very confusing to read. Nobody has time to understand things that much, especially on the internet people are really quick when it comes to making a decision.

Make them do action

You should write such a great copy which would make the customer make a purchase and this is done by gaining their complete trust by providing them with portfolio and information regarding the gig.

Promote your other gigs

Let the buyer know that if they need something relevant to the current gig, they should be looking at your other gig which offers the relevant service.

Use the FAQs properly

The FAQs are also a part of the gig description so make sure you use them properly and answer most of the questions right there about the gig.
